Aloe Vera is one of those beauty secrets that is here to stay. We have been using it for centuries on our skin and body, but now it is being used more for faster hair growth. It has become so popular that many natural hair companies are coming out with their own Aloe Vera Hair Care Lines.
This powerful plant contains a wide variety of minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins that your hair will love. Vitamins A, C, and E that are in Aloe Vera can repair the dead skin cells on your scalp and promote healthy cell growth. Aloe Vera also contains Vitamin B-12 and folic acid which prevent your hair from falling out, promote hair growth, and can even reduce hair damage. This doesn’t even include all the conditioning benefits it gives like stronger and shinier hair. So, let’s get into how you can use Aloe Vera to help your hair grow faster!

Now for the fun stuff! 3 ways to use Aloe Vera Gel for hair growth.
1. As A Hair Moisturizer
You can use this Aloe Vera gel mixture as a hair moisturizer by applying it after you wash your hair. Or, use it as a daily moisturizer before styling your hair. Lightly spray your hair with the moisturizer from the roots to the tips, focusing on your scalp. The minerals from the Aloe Vera will seep into your hair strands and give it hydration. This DIY mixture will leave your hair moisturized for longer than your regular store bought leave-in conditioners and it promotes faster hair growth.
2. For Scalp Massages
Use your Aloe Vera gel mixture as a hair growth serum by adding Black Jamaican Castor Oil. Apply the mixture to your scalp, then massage your scalp with you fingertips for 10-15 minutes every night. The massage along with the hair growth serum allows the blood to flow to your scalp. This gives your hair follicles nutrients that are needed to encourage growth. You can also use this oil to stimulate hair growth on thinning edges. This mixture is good for 5-7 days and should be stored in the fridge.

3. Use As A Deep Condition
To use this Aloe Vera gel mixture as a deep conditioner we recommend adding different types of essential oils such as castor oil, rosemary oil, and peppermint oil. Essential oils are more powerful that regular oils, so you only need to add a few drops of each. These oils will strengthen, moisturize, and stimulate hair growth. To thicken the mixture add in your favorite detangling conditioner. The detangler will thicken the mixture up and make it easier to use as a deep conditioner. Next, apply it to your hair from root to tips and then cover your hair with a plastic cap. For deeper penetration, and the best results, use it with a deep conditioning heat cap for 15-30 minutes.
